Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage units and temperature monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload frozen and refrigerated products using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock rotation records
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in designated zones
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and compliance
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain with company training
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
