Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate provided forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using provided tools
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform routine sanitation of storage areas
- Assist with inventory tracking systems
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (equipment provided)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with provided equipment
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
