Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Maintain precise cold chain compliance through routine temperature checks and documentation
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with perishable goods using provided climate-controlled gear
- Conduct inventory audits in frozen, refrigerated, and ambient storage zones
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold environments and heavy machinery operation
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product integrity standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and report malfunctions
Qualifications
- Ability to work consistently in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 32°F
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-provided training
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with provided mechanical assistance
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and FDA cold storage regulations
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including overnight shifts
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical screening
