Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Prepare shipments for distribution following HACCP guidelines
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-8 hour shifts)
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to our Louisville facility
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
