Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions for perishable goods (32°F - 0°F)
- Perform inventory audits using digital scanners and warehouse management systems
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities to comply with FDA food safety standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document temperature logs and safety compliance reports
- Maintain equipment calibration and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in 32°F to 0°F environments for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (training provided if needed)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
