Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) provided by employer
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect and sanitize storage areas, racks, and equipment daily
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using provided hydraulic equipment
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation systems with provided RF scanners
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols for cold environments
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures below 40°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail in temperature-sensitive operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly with provided mechanical assistance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
