Responsibilities
- Load and unload refrigerated trucks and freight containers safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory (training available).
- Monitor and log temperature data to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the cold storage facility.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in extreme cold environments (temperatures below freezing).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and billing.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety guidelines.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts.
