Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Inspect and document product quality/condition
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload trucks with proper stacking techniques
- Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and surfaces
- Use warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid forklift operator certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail in quality control
- Comfortable working in 0°F to 40°F environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation for varied shift times
