Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts in cold environments
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Operate material handling equipment in -10°F to 40°F conditions
- Document storage activities using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to early/late shift schedules
