Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation of refrigerated storage units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move frozen/dry goods
- Conduct daily inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Implement strict sanitation protocols for equipment and facilities
- Coordinate loading/unloading of temperature-controlled trailers
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance standards
- Train on advanced cold safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including overnight shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
