Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Inspect, sort, and organize perishable inventory according to quality standards
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems safely
- Load/unload refrigerated vehicles and maintain accurate shipment records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols consistently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
