Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Load/unload pallets of perishable goods using electric pallet jacks
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks with warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols during all handling procedures
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (certification provided)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational targets
- Complete quality assurance checks on incoming/outgoing products
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and pallet counting
- Stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends with 2-week advance scheduling
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
