Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely load/unload, organize, and rotate perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation procedures
- Perform routine inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Conduct equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of temperature logs and inventory movements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company training)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
