Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Perform inventory management tasks including stock rotation, cycle counts, and data entry
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with strict safety protocols
- Inspect and sanitize equipment/facilities to comply with FDA and USDA standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient loading/unloading of perishable goods
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines and personal protective equipment requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse, cold storage, or food handling experience
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging -10°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system operations
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
