Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage (-10°F to 40°F environments)
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment following strict safety protocols
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report irregularities to supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and adhere to sanitation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient inventory rotation
- Participate in quarterly safety drills and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and temperature tracking
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Flexible availability to cover morning, afternoon, or weekend shifts
- Valid Texas Driver's License preferred (not required)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper lifting techniques
