Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO principles to ensure product freshness
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following HACCP protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks using proper lifting techniques
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in digital systems
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends (4am-12pm shifts available)
- Reliable transportation to Seaport District facility
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
