Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload trucks and organize inventory using FIFO principles
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct quality inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (-10°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends based on business needs
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Commitment to safety and sanitation procedures
