Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect, sort, and rotate inventory using FIFO methods to prevent spoilage
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely and efficiently
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics in digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP standards and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely loading/unloading of perishable goods
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to complete company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
