Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 30°F)
- Inspect and maintain temperature-controlled inventory using WMS systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with strict adherence to FIFO protocols
- Conduct daily safety audits and sanitation procedures in cold zones
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless inventory rotation
- Maintain accurate documentation of temperature logs and product handling
- Operate palletizers and shrink-wrapping equipment in cold conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Willingness to work rotating weekends/holidays
