Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient inventory movement
- Inspect equipment for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Follow strict sanitation protocols and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Load/unload shipments with attention to product integrity and documentation
- Perform routine inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to 0°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to Industrial Park Road location
- No prior cold storage experience necessary – training provided!
