Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in designated zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Conduct daily facility inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow HACCP and OSHA safety guidelines for cold environments
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory methods
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements accurately
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
