Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold-storage handling equipment
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methods
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements in digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA cold chain protocols
- Perform sanitation and pest control procedures in compliance with USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
