Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols with zero-tolerance policy
- Optimize inventory control systems and cycle count accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Utilize provided warehouse management software for real-time inventory tracking
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Analyze operational metrics to identify productivity improvement opportunities
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with proven leadership track record
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring
- Ability to operate provided warehouse equipment safely
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends as needed
