Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct regular inventory checks and stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) following OSHA standards
- Monitor and document storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Perform sanitation and hygiene protocols in compliance with FDA regulations
- Collaborate with team members for efficient dock operations and order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
