Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) for refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated inventory systems with OSHA-compliant safety protocols
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO principles to prevent spoilage
- Load/unload shipments using proper material handling techniques
- Sanitize and maintain equipment/facility per HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience or equivalent training
- OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver's license preferred
