Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment safely
- Manage inventory tracking systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for food handling
- Perform quality control checks on perishable goods
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document daily operational logs and temperature readings
- Participate in monthly safety training drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift certification with 6+ months practical operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Clean pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of HACCP principles preferred
