Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F) with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage inventory using WMS systems and RF scanners for accurate tracking
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using electric pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and maintain cold chain integrity
- Follow HACCP guidelines and OSHA safety standards for refrigerated environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification and proficiency with electric pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and RF scanning technology
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
