Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move perishable goods safely
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Document inventory movements and quality control reports
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 35-40°F refrigerated environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver's license (preferred) and forklift certification (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
