Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move perishable goods efficiently
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and temperature compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
