Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with perishable goods
- Conduct inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas daily
- Document temperature logs and shipment records
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (4-8 hours/day)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
