Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to organize inventory efficiently
- Inspect and sanitize storage areas according to HACCP standards
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using proper handling techniques
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (0°F to -20°F)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Prior warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification a plus (training available)
