Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage facilities at optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and document product integrity, humidity levels, and equipment status
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required – training provided
