Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the cold storage facility in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to organize inventory.
- Inspect products for damage or spoilage before storing or shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Willingness to work in cold environments and rotating shifts.
- Forklift certification is a strong plus but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
