Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store products within walk-in freezers and refrigerated units.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload palletized goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and log temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to 5S protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments and stand for long periods.
- Lifting Ability: Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Valid License: Valid Driver’s License required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team leads and supervisors.
