Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize freight in freezer and cooler environments.
- Monitor storage conditions to ensure product integrity and quality control.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily inventory checks and cycle counts with high accuracy.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and workplace regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (typically below 35°F) for extended shifts.
- Previous experience in warehouse or cold storage operations is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
