Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport pallets of frozen and refrigerated goods safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs for all storage zones to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for damage, spoilage, or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Organize stock in designated aisles to optimize workflow and maximize storage capacity.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of storage areas to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and accurate inventory counts.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (30°F or below) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for all positions.
