Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor refrigeration systems to maintain precise temperature ranges (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily quality inspections of stored goods and facility equipment
- Complete digital inventory reports and documentation via remote portal
- Implement HACCP protocols for food safety compliance
- Collaborate with remote team members for logistics coordination
- Perform preventive maintenance on cooling systems and storage units
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (valid or obtainable)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for remote reporting tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Reliable transportation to Madison facility (4 days/week on-site)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
