Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies to supervisors
- Follow strict sanitation and safety procedures in cold environments
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, scanners) with precision
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient inventory rotation
- Complete accurate documentation of storage and movement activities
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23°C) for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and quality checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation)
