Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate material handling equipment to move goods into and out of cold storage units.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, track, and record inventory using handheld devices and RF scanners.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain proper temperature settings in storage units to ensure product integrity.
- Packaging & Prep: Assist in packaging products for shipment, ensuring all safety standards and quality checks are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication Skills: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work History: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required for our paid training program.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
