Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled zones
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP standards)
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior cold storage experience necessary
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in cold environments
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
