Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated and frozen products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F environments)
- Operate temperature-controlled warehouse equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of cold storage areas and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated/freezer conditions) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to our Jacksonville facility
- No prior cold storage experience required - training provided
- Valid driver's license preferred (equipment operation training included)
