Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments
- Inspect and monitor refrigeration equipment daily
- Follow strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments (food, pharma)
- Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely shipments
- Participate in quarterly safety training updates
Qualifications
- No prior cold storage experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
