Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones (0°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily safety inspections of refrigeration equipment and storage systems
- Adhere to HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate inventory management systems for accurate stock tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
