Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move perishable inventory
- Inspect products for quality and packaging integrity upon receipt
- Adhere strictly to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Complete inventory counts and documentation in real-time
- Perform routine sanitation of storage areas and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
