Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation for refrigerated storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°C to 4°C environments
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality compliance
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold conditions
- Collaborate remotely with inventory management teams using digital tracking systems
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Train on remote monitoring technologies for cold chain integrity
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Comfortable working in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for remote reporting systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and quality checks
- Reliable transportation to Nashville facility
