Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts using digital systems
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with proper handling protocols
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance standards
- Conduct routine equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with remote team members via digital communication tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid Texas driver's license
