Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-20°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive goods following FIFO protocols
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Document inventory and temperature logs via our remote reporting portal
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment
- Collaborate with remote team members via digital communication tools
- Respond to temperature alerts and equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environments
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for remote reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid Alaska driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
