Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict inventory accuracy
- Monitor and document storage conditions using remote IoT monitoring systems
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods (produce, dairy, pharmaceuticals)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Collaborate with remote logistics team via digital inventory management platforms
- Maintain sanitation standards through regular facility cleaning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in subzero conditions
- Basic computer literacy for remote inventory systems
- Valid forklift certification (training provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation to Santa Ana facility (3 days/week on-site)
