Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Perform inventory audits and stock rotation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Operate and maintain refrigeration equipment with daily inspections
- Document storage conditions and inventory movements in digital logs
- Collaborate with logistics team for seamless shipping/receiving coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse operations
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid California driver's license preferred
