Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment in cold environments
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols and inventory tracking procedures
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Maintain detailed electronic logs using our remote inventory management portal
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient storage rotation and FIFO compliance
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Basic computer literacy for remote administrative tasks
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
